Dragon Wagon

Private Trans-Siberian Train Carriage

Ride the Dragon Wagon – your private luxurious carriage

Our Dragon Wagons are chartered carriages that drag on at the end of regular trains.
The wagon has 9 cabins with 4 berths each and is superior to most regular carriages. Some cabins are taken by your Tour Leader and used for excess luggage. Cabins can be booked for first class use with only 2 persons per cabin, or a group of 3 can reserve the 4th place.

‘We never imagined we would be travelling the famous Trans-Siberian train, until we discovered this private wagon. We never had to worry with our own helpful guide around. It was great fun every day, visiting amazing places, meeting the locals and making new friends on board our own Dragon Wagon.’

Mao

Dragons

Chinese Dragons are divine mythical creatures representing ultimate abundance, prosperity and good fortune. They are also a symbol of imperial power during the Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynasties.

Drag On Wagons are operated by our ex-Monkeys in Beijing. Typical guests on board are well educated middle aged small groups of friends, mostly Chinese from the mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong or oversees, and Westerners from various countries. It is a great opportunity to meet like minded new friends, and to experience and learn about new places and cultures without the worry of logistics.
