Day 1 
Vladivostok arrival
Arrive Vladivostok ___ Meet driver in arrivals hall (arriving by plane). Transfer to centrally located 3* hotel, staying 2 nights.

Day 2
Vladivostok city tour
Guided city tour (3 hrs by car). (B

Day 3
Vladivostok departure
Free day in Vladivostok before early evening transfer to train station. Depart on train #2 (Rossiya) a little after 19:00 (or #7 around 23:00). (B)

On train – Russian far east

On train – Siberia

Day 6
Irkutsk arrival
Travel along the southern shore of Lake Baikal in the morning before arriving in Irkutsk in the afternoon a little before 16:00 (or around 22:00 on #7). Meet your local guide/driver on the station platform and transfer to 3* hotel, staying overnight.

Day 7
Lake Baikal – Listvyanka
Meet guide / driver after breakfast. Transfer to Listvyanka, the main village on the shore of Lake Baikal (70km from Irkutsk). Staying two nights at a comfortable guesthouse. Enjoy a guided tour of Listvyanka Village and the Lake Baikal Museum. (B)

Day 8
Lake Baikal | Listvyanka – Excursion
A moderate hiking excursion that takes you into the hills surrounding Listvyanka and along the cliffs overlooking Lake Baikal (5-6 hrs). The hike is normally conducted by Sasha or one of his guides, who speak basic English and have developed many tracks as self-appointed park managers of the area. They will instruct you on the different fauna, flora and habitats of the area. Altogether, a fantastic way to experience the natural beauty of Listvyanka and Lake Baikal.

Day 9
Listvyanka | Irkutsk departure
Free morning before transfer to Irkutsk. Enjoy a 2-hour guided city walking tour of the main sites in the city centre, including: Karl Marx Street, the Church of the Transfiguration, the Epiphany Cathedral and the former Polish Cathedral.
Explore further on your own. The main part of Irkutsk is easy to navigate by foot.
Hint: Pick up supplies for the four-night train journey. 
Afternoon transfer to train station. Depart late afternoon a little after 17:00. (B)

Day 10
On train
On board the train all day. Stroll along to the dining car or buy fresh produce from local vendors as you stretch your legs on the platform. The train stops around ten times per day, at cities such as Krasnoyarsk and Novosibirsk.
This is the ‘mid Siberian railway’, which was built between 1893 and 1898 crossing the great rivers Ob and Yenisei. It is the half way point on the Moscow to Beijing Trans-Mongolian line.

Day 11
On train | Ekaterinburg arrival
Evening arrival in Ekaterinburg a little after 22:00; meet guide on platform. Transfer to Chekhov Hotel, staying 2 nights.

Day 12
Ekaterinburg | Nevyansk excursion
Excursion to the city of Nevyansk (80km from Ekaterinburg). Nevyansk is the one time capital of the Demidov dynasty, a very successful family of factory owners. The trip includes a visit to the famous and recently restored Nevyansk “leaning tower”, and the Transfiguration Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral and the traditional craft center and the famous Nevyansk icons.
You will stop at Byngi village on the return trip for lunch. (B|L)

Day 13
Ekaterinburg | Train to Moscow
Guided city tour before transfer to station. Depart on train early afternoon around 14:00. (B)

Day 14
Moscow arrival
Arrive Moscow (Yaroslavsky station) late afternoon around 16:00; meet driver on station platform. Transfer to centrally located 3* hotel, staying one night. 

Day 15
Moscow city tour
Meet your guide after breakfast and enjoy a great orientation tour of Moscow city centre. All our guides have their own personal itineraries and will visit many of the main sites, including: Tverskaya street and it’s important buildings, Manezhnaya square, Marshal Zhukov monument, Lubyanka (former KGB building), Aleksandrovsky Gardens and of course the Red Square, St. Basil Cathedral and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.
