Day 1
Moscow arrival and city tour
Arrive Moscow___ (arrival transfer can be added). Staying at a centrally located budget hotel, one night.
We can book extra accommodation and tours in Moscow, along with an extension from Saint Petersburg.

Enjoy a guided orientation tour of Moscow (usually at 2pm  or switch to following morning – 3 hrs).
The Moscow guides have their own personal touch, while of course visiting the main sites and introducing you to the diversity of Moscow’s architectural styles from Russian-Moscow Baroque and Art Nouveau to the Pseudo-Chinese and Moorish influences. The three-hour walking tour generally includes: Tverskaya street and it’s important buildings, Manezhnaya square, Marshal Zhukov monument, Lubyanka (former KGB building), Aleksandrovsky Gardens and of course the Red Square, St. Basil Cathedral and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour.

Day 2
Moscow departure
Free morning in Moscow before transfer to station. Depart Moscow a little after 16:30 (B)

Day 3
Train | Ekaterinburg
Arrive in Ekaterinburg in the evening around 6:22pm. Meet your guide at the platform and transfer to the centrally located hostel, where you will stay two nights.

Day 4
Ekaterinburg  | Ural Mountains
Enjoy a 3-hour guided excursion to the Romanov Monastery and the ‘Ganina Yama’ burial site.

Day 5
Ekaterinburg  | Train to Irkutsk
After breakfast, enjoy a 3-4 hours guided tour of the historical center with a local guide. Visit 1905 Revolution Square, Church of Spilled and the Chapel of St. Elizabeth, the Hill of Ascension, the Ural Museum of Minerals, statues of Ekaterinburg founders and communist leaders.
Free afternoon to explore further on your own before evening transfer to the train station. Depart a little before 22:00.

Day 6
On train
The train stops around ten times per day, at cities such as Omsk and Novosibirsk, continuing on to traverse the ‘mid Siberian railway’, which was built between 1893 and 1898, and crossing the great rivers Ob and Yenisei.

Day 7
On train
Enjoy the day on board, with endless views of Siberian taiga forest, as the train passes north of the Sayan Mountains. 

Day 8
Irkutsk | Listvyanka Village
Arrive in Irkutsk a little before 11am. Meet driver / guide on station platform and transfer to Listvyanka (70km from Irkutsk). Staying two nights at Sasha’s budget Guesthouse.

Day 9
Listvyanka | Lake Baikal
Free time to explore Listvyanka Village and the surrounding area.

Day 10
Listvyanka | Irkutsk
Return to Irkutsk by yourself (guide will provide instructions). Explore Irkutsk on your own, staying overnight at a central 3* hotel.
Irkutsk is an important staging post on the Trans-Siberian Railway and has an old center very easy to navigate on foot with lovely Siberian wooden architecture and an amazing history of fires and rebuilding. The main part of Irkutsk is easy to navigate by foot (B) 

Day 11
Train to Vladivostok
Early transfer to station. Depart around 7:47am (on train #2; or 08:36 on train #8). Travel along the southern shore of Lake Baikal and passing the city of Ulan-Ude mid-afternoon (B – time permitting)

Day 12
On train – Siberia

Day 13
On train – Russian far east

Day 14
Vladivostok arrival
Arrive in Vladivostok around 7am (on train #2; or 14:37 on train #8).
Meet your driver on the platform and transfer to a centrally located 3* hotel, staying two nights.

Day 15
Vladivostok
Guided city tour (3 hrs by car). (B)
