You have the choice of two summer start dates from Beijing to Moscow. The first trip is for 22 nights / 23 days, and the second trip one night longer. Both tours have the option to extend the trip to St Petersburg if you have more time.
Trip B1 includes the Nadaam Festival in Mongolia, while trip B2 includes Karakorum and Ulan Ude instead.
All of our escorted trips follow a slightly different itinerary (to give Matt a change of scene!), so if you don't like the sight-seeing options on the trips below and have the flexibility, you can start on a different date from Moscow and include slightly different tours, detailed on the next page.

ITINERARY: After Beijing (2 nights), the highlight of this tour is Mongolia, where you will visit Hustai National Park (2) in search of the famed Przewalsk horses, Elstei Ger Lodge (1) for a cultural performance as well capital Ulanbaatar (3) during the lively Nadaam Festival. You will spend time on the shore or Lake Baikal (2) and return to Irkutsk (2) along the special Circum-Baikal Railway. Before arriving in Moscow (2) you will stop in Ekaterinburg (2) to experience the Ural Mountains - the natural border of Asia and Europe.

Minimum group size is four people for this tour to run. The standard price is based on two people sharing on a group tour. If you are a single traveller you will pay a single supplement for hotel rooms and train cabin, or if you specifically request single accommodation. Train travel is based on first class two berth cabins.
Reservations without commitment will be held for a maximum of one month. A non-refundable deposit is required upon booking of € 750 per person. Bookings accepted as per our usual terms and conditions.
