If you can't find what you're looking form with our set trips in the previous sections, we can also help build a tailormade independent tour with your own itinerary and including as many stops, tours and train journeys as we offer in our wide portfolio.

Our set tours are designed around the most interesting places with well structured tours, but it's often the case you are inflexible with dates and need would like a special tour built around your dates.

If you want to start from a blank page and design your own trip from Beijing to Moscow on the Trans-Mongolian, then we can help too. Once you have a skeleton route worked out, contact us and we will be able to design the perfect independent tour for you.

Custom BSP9 - Beijing - Ulanbaatar - Irkutsk - Ekaterinburg - St Petersburg

ITINERARY: This is very much like one of our standard tours, but avoiding Moscow altogether. You can spend time in Mongolia (Gobi and Elstei), Irkutsk to visit Lake Baikal, then into the Ural Mountains of Ekaterinburg before heading straight to St Petersburg. Of course you can always travel to Moscow after you have visited St Petersburg.

OUR SAY: This customer had visited Moscow before and so wanted to see more of the rest of Russia, we designed a trip which saw the most interesting places along the way, except for Moscow. Not for everyone.

DATES: Trains run year round, and with weekly departures from Beijing. Through Russia the trains are available daily, or alternate days.

PRICE NOTES
The standard price is per person, based on two people sharing. If you are a single traveller there will be a single supplement. If you are the third person on a tour you will pay a single supplement for hotel rooms, or if you specifically request a single room in hotels. Train travel is based on a standard four berth second class cabin. Upgrade to a two berth first class cabin is available on some routes and subject to availablity.
