ITINERARY: Depart from Beijing once a week or more often in summer, stop in Ulanbaatar for a minimum of two nights (extendable) and continue on to Moscow. Transfer and one night accommodation in Ulanbaatar is included and you can book extra tours with us or arrange by yourself.

Train #23 Beijing to Ulaanbaatar is run by Chinese Railways and departs every Tuesday until 25th May 2010. Mongolian Railways then take over the route, with departure from Beijing every Saturday from 5th June 2010. After a short break it is expected Chinese Railways will offer an
extra service through the summer departing Beijing each Tuesday from 22nd June until beginning of October only. Exact schedule and dates not yet confirmed!
Train #5 Ulanbaatar to Moscow is a joint service operated by Russian and Mongolian Railways. During summer there is a twice-weekly service, alternating on a Tuesday (run by Russian Railways) and a Friday (run by Mongolian Railways). During winter, the service operates every ten days.
