| DAY 1 | Train, China Depart Beijing by train #23 at 07:45. The train journey passes the mountains north of Beijing before heading into the plains of Inner Mongolia reaching the Chinese border in the evening. |

| DAY 2 | Elstei Ger, Mongolia Up early and you will see the Gobi and, if lucky, some camels before crossing into the grasslands and Steppe arriving Ulaanbaatar at 13:20. Your guide will meet you at the station and give you an orientation sight-seeing tour around the city, including the Gandan Monastery, Zaishan Hill and Sukhebaatar Square. Transfer to Elstei Ger resort. Your guide will explain local customs and introduce you to traditional living in a Ger. Dinner. Overnight. |

| DAY 3 | Burd Sum Ger Resort, Mongolia Departure to Karakorum (425km). Travel via the Bat Khaan mountain with a picnic lunch on the way. If available, stop at camel and horse breeding herds. Overnight stay at Burd Sum Ger Resort (80 km to the east of Karakorum). |

| DAY 9 | Krestovaya Bay, Lake Baikal Arrive Irkutsk at 08:10. Transfer from the Railway Station to a family stay in Irkutsk for breakfast and a chance to shower and rest. Free time and own lunch arrangements. Take the 3pm bus with a guide to Krestovaya Bay (215km and 3 to 4 hours). Accommodation at the resort. Dinner and overnight. |

| DAY 10* | Krestovaya Bay, Lake Baikal Breakfast. Guided walk to Dain-Choshum rock and see the ruins of the old watch tower from the Kurikan age (5th to 11th Century). Lunch. Afternoon excursion by car to Sagan-Zaba rock (5km) to see the oldest rock paintings in Asia (4,000 to 5,000 BC). Sauna (Banya) and dinner. Overnight. |

| DAY 11 | Krestovaya Bay, Lake Baikal Breakfast. Take a car excursion to the black sandy beach (8km) and relax there before returning to the resort for lunch. After lunch relax, explore the area, enjoy the views or have a swim. Dinner and overnight. |
