Moscow Airports

There are three International airports in Moscow, check to make sure you know which one you are flying from! Find information on each airport and travel information directly at Aero Express

SVO - Sheremetievo-1 (Domestic) and Sheremetievo-2 (International) - аэропорт Шереметьево -1/ Шереметьево-2
DME - Domodedovo - аэропорт Домодедово
VNU - Vnukovo - аэропорт Внуково

Sheremetievo (or Sheremetyevo) Sheremetyevo Airport is the original and largest, it handles most international carriers and all Aeroflot flights. Sheremetievo airport has been reconstructed and now it has 5 terminals: terminal E, terminal, D, terminal F (International) and terminal B and C (Domestic). Domodedovo is a newer airport, easier to get to on the train shuttle, and becoming more popular with airlines such as BA, Germania and S7 Siberian Air. Vnukovo is a smaller airport and handles more Russian based charter airlines as well as budget flights.

Transfers by Car

We can arrange a car transfer to or from any of the airports in advance. We will obviously need your confirmed flight details and a driver will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall at the airport, or arrange to meet you at your hotel for the transfer to the airport. Please include an airport transfer at the time of booking or else arrange a transfer to the airport with your guide whilst in Moscow.

Arrival transfers, based on day time transfer, prices vary depending on airport:
from € 65 per car per one way transfer (maximum of three passengers)
from € 100 per minibus, one way transfer (based on eight passengers)

Transfers by Train

Sheremetievo (Russian: Международный Аэропорт Шереметьево)
The Aeroexpress Rail Terminal is located at Belorussky Train Station, near Belorusskaya metro station. The entrance to the Terminal is through gate No 3 and 4 of Belorussky Train Station. Check-in for domestic flights is possible if necessary. Travel time to the airport is stated as 35 minutes, but takes more like 45 minutes! The trains run approximately every 30 minutes from 05:30 until 11pm.

Domodedovo – аэропорт Домодедово
The Aeroexpress Rail Terminal is located at Paveletsky Station, near Paveletskaya metro station. The entrance to the Terminal is through gate No 3 of Paveletsky Station. Buy tickets in the basement the Station. There are half hourly train services from Moscow Paveletskiy train station (Павелецкий вокзал) to Domodedovo airport. Starting at approximately 7am and running until 10pm, the journey takes 40 minutes. In the summer there are extra services at 6am and 11pm.

Vnukovo – аэропорт Внуково
The Aeroexpress Rail Terminal is located at Kievsky Train Station, near Kievskaya metro station opposite the "European" Trade Centre. There are hourly services from Kievskiy train station (Киевский вокзал) to Vnukovo airport. The journey time takes just 35 minutes and train services start at 6am, until 11pm.
