Below are some direct train options between Moscow and St Petersburg as well as a range of overnight tours to the Golden Ring.

Direct Train
We can book places on three night-trains between Moscow and St. Petersburg. It is the most convenient way to get between the two cities and can save on one night's accommodation.

An overnight service, departing Moscow at 22:20 arriving at 06:39. The main disadvantage of this service is the very unfriendly
arrival hour early in the morning (note it is unlikely you will be able
to check into your hotel room straight away). Also, there is no dining car. The cabins
are just as comfortable as the 'Red Arrow' below. |

We can also book Train #2 'Red Arrow' from St Petersburg to Moscow, daily departures at 23:55, arriving 07:55, but prices are more expensive on this flagship service although there is a dining car |

A high-speed service now operates between Moscow and St Petersburg cutting the journey time to just over 4 hours. Most convenient day departure is at 13:00, arriving at 17:17. Earlier and later departures are also available. It does mean an extra hotel night is required. |

does not have a dining car and leaves after midnight at
00:40, arriving 09:53. The cabins are just as comfortable as the 'Red Arrow'
below but departing after midnight means cheaper prices.
The later arrival is also more practical for avoiding Moscow's morning rush hour. |

Notes
The cost of the ticket includes booking fees and delivery to you by our local staff. Train ticket prices are banded depending on season and Russian Holiday dates.
Depart Moscow Kurzskaya station on train #62 at 14:00, Arrive
in Vladimir (180kms) at 16:05. Car transfer from Vladimir to
Suzdal (1 hour), and check-in to Pushkarskaya Sloboda Hotel.
Overnight.
Breakfast. Guided walking tour of Suzdal for three hours
(pick up at 9am unless another arrangement). Free time in afternoon.
Transfer back to Vladimir in afternoon, free time for dinner
and short sightseeing of Vladimir. Departure from Vladimir
on train #59 at 22:20.
Arrive in Vladimir at 08:10. Car transfer from Vladimir to
Suzdal (1 hour), and check-in to Pushkarskaya Sloboda Hotel.
Guided walking tour of Suzdal for three hours (pick up at 10am
unless another arrangement). Free time in afternoon. Overnight
Breakfast. Morning transfer back to Vladimir train station with assistance
at left luggage. Free time to explore Vladimir. Hourly departure from
Vladimir by bus in the afternoon. Arrive Moscow after 4 hours.
Arrive Novgorod at 05:50 with transfer to Sadko hotel. Lie-in
and breakfast. Guided walking tour of Novgorod for three hours
(pick up at 10am unless another arrangement). Free time in
afternoon. Transfer back to station for departure at 16:30
on local train. Arrival in St Petersburg at 20:23.
Arrive Novgorod at 05:50 with transfer to Sadko hotel. Lie-in
and breakfast. Guided walking tour of Novgorod for three hours
(pick up at 10am unless another arrangement). Free time in
afternoon. Overnight at Sadko hotel.
Depart St Petersburg Moskovskiy station by local train departing
08:10 and arriving the same day at 11:58 with guided walking
tour of Novgorod for three hours. Free time and make own way
to the station for departure at 21:10 by train #41 to Moscow.

Breakfast. Free time to enjoy the sights and make own way
