05-08-04 Our Hong Kong office has finally outgrown Chungking Mansions, and we will move to a new office at the beginning of September. Just across the road at Liberty Mansions, but far removed from the squalor and mess surrounding Chungking Mansions.

16-04-04 The Chinese Railways announced the summer timetable on 16-04-04. The Mongolian Train #23 will depart Beijing on Saturday morning. There will be an extra train #23 running on Tuesdays from June 22nd (this service will finish at the end of September 2004.

15-04-04 Lenin's Mausoleum is closed till April 18 2005. They are freshening him up for his birthday which is April 22!

12-04-04 The Russian Embassy in Beijing have changed the visa regulations from 12-04-04. From now on they will only issue Russian visas with the original visa invitation paperwork sent from Mosocw.
